Getting-started steps per channel, WordPress setup and billing. If you can't find what you need, write to us.
Producing a blog post
Enter your website URL or upload company documents. Pilcrowa extracts a brand profile from them: industry, audience, tone and topic clusters. This profile is the basis for everything you generate later.
Choose a topic from the trend scan in Explore or from profile-based suggestions, or enter your own title. If you already have a list, 'add topics in bulk' lets you write one topic per line (or paste two columns from a CSV) and open up to 50 briefs at once — that step costs no credits and you decide what to generate. Optionally run web research: sources are gathered and the claims in your draft are grounded in them.
Review the brief that sets tone, format and length; generate the full draft and images in one click. Your length choice determines the credit cost (short 1, medium 2, long 4).
Refine with a revision note, lock the blocks you don't want changed, leave comments. When ready, send a draft to WordPress or export as PDF/DOCX/HTML.
Producing a LinkedIn post
Add an author from the LinkedIn section: choose whether it's a person or a company, add the profile link, and optionally paste a few of your past posts. Pilcrowa builds a voice profile from these so your posts sound like you.
Get topic suggestions from your profile, or run 'timely topics' for web-search-backed ideas. Then several opening (hook) variants are generated and you pick the best one. Topic suggestions and hooks cost no credits.
You can generate the post as plain text or choose a carousel. LinkedIn has no separate carousel post type: the cards ship as pages of a PDF and are swiped through in the feed. The slides are a separate generation rather than a split of the body, so they carry their own credit cost.
Once the body is generated, connect your LinkedIn account via OAuth to publish directly, or schedule it for a future date — a scheduled post goes out whether or not you're in the app. If you'd rather not connect, you can simply copy the text and post it manually.
Producing Meta content
Pick your company and set the goal of the post (promotion, education, engagement…). The goal changes both the caption's tone and the hashtag set.
A caption with hashtags is generated alongside a 4:5 feed image. If it's not right, request a variant set, pick a stock photo, or upload your own image.
From the same post you can generate a Story idea set and a scene-by-scene video script. Direct publishing to Meta isn't available yet — export the content and post it from the app.
Improving your own text (Improve Writing)
Paste your own text into the Review section, or upload a file. This module doesn't generate content — it improves the text you bring.
As you type, the score and warnings update live: long sentences, clichés, repetition, filler words. This layer costs no credits and runs entirely in your browser. Findings like double spaces can be fixed with one click.
For what the rule engine can't see, run a deep review: argument strength, flow, tone consistency and (if you picked a company) brand-voice fit. Every suggestion is anchored to an exact phrase and applies with one click.
Working with your team and client
On the Team page you invite a teammate by email address and give them one of three roles: the owner does everything, an editor creates and publishes, a viewer only reads. No separate invite link is sent — they join the team when they sign in with that same email address. Credits belong to the account rather than the person, so everyone spends from the same balance. Teams are available on every plan.
You generate an approval link for a draft and send it to your client; they don't need an account. They open the link, read the content and either approve it or request changes — a note is required when they ask for changes. The link is closed to search engines and you can revoke it at any time.
Once it's approved you can schedule the post for a future date and time instead of publishing now; a worker on the server does the publishing, so your browser doesn't need to be open. The Calendar page shows the whole month and lets you cancel a schedule that hasn't gone out yet. Scheduling currently works for LinkedIn posts only.
A WordPress connection is set up per company: you connect it in the WordPress section of that company's page, and that company's posts only ever go to that site. If a company has no connection of its own, the account-wide one is used.
Repurposing content to another channel
From a blog post, LinkedIn post, Meta post or a text you've reviewed, hit 'repurpose' to start NEW content in another channel. The text carries over and the target module rewrites it with its own rules (length, hook, hashtags, SEO). The source image is copied over too.
Connecting WordPress
Download the ToScribe Connector plugin zip from the link below.
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip you downloaded and install it.
Activate the plugin. On Settings → ToScribe Connector you'll see a connection key generated for your site; copy it.
Go to the WordPress section on the page of the company you're connecting (if you only run one site you can also connect it account-wide from My Account), enter your site URL and this key, then hit 'test connection'. Once it passes, you're ready to send posts as drafts. If the plugin is already installed, check its version: structured-data (schema.org) delivery arrived in 1.2.0 and older versions ignore that data silently.
Frequently asked
Do I own the generated content?
Yes — the text, headlines and images you generate are yours and can be used commercially. Stock photos remain under the provider's (Pexels) licence, and the attribution line is added to your exports automatically.
Where can I publish besides WordPress?
You can publish directly to LinkedIn. For everywhere else, export posts as PDF, DOCX, HTML or Markdown; direct Meta publishing and more CMS integrations are on the roadmap.
Does it publish to WordPress or send a draft?
By default it sends a draft: the post is created as a draft in your WordPress and you review it before it goes live. If you prefer, the same panel has a 'Publish Now' option — either way the call is yours.
What if I don't like an image?
You can regenerate, pick from the stock library, upload your own, or roll back to a previous version. Regenerating costs credits each time; stock images don't.
What language is content generated in?
The interface is Turkish and English. Content language is chosen per piece — you can generate English content while using the Turkish interface.
Can I trust the figures in the text?
After generation we check every percentage and monetary claim against the sources we gathered and flag any figure without a match. We still recommend reviewing before you publish — the final call is yours.
Plans and billing
What is a credit and what does it buy?
A single balance: posts, images, revisions and reviews all draw from it. A long blog post is 4 credits, an AI image 3, a revision 1. Topic suggestions, briefs, hooks and stock images cost 0.
My trial credits are used up — what now?
Every new account gets a one-time 10 credits, and these don't renew. To continue, pick a plan on the Plans page and pay by card — your account is activated instantly.
How do I change or cancel my plan?
You do it yourself from subscription management on the Plans page — switching plans, updating your card and cancelling all live there. Upgrades and downgrades are prorated. On cancellation your account stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Where can I see my usage?
From the usage panel on your profile page: remaining credits, free-tool allowances, record limits and (on a paid plan) your renewal date are all shown there.
How do I get my invoice?
Your invoice is emailed to you after payment; you can also view and download all your invoices from the Subscription page in your account. Prices are in CAD and exclude tax; any applicable sales tax is added at checkout based on your country.
